Proposed German Heavy Tank

During World War II the Germans had many competing and overlapping projects.  This tank is an example of that.  The turret you may recognize as the early production turret for the Tiger II.  The hull is like the one used on the Ferdinand / Elephant heavy tank destroyer.

While this specific combination of turret and hull were never put into service together, they were intended to serve as heavy tanks for the German Armed Forces.

Kits of such tanks are interesting because they help to demonstrate some of the interesting proposals put forth by German industry in WWII.

Artmaster makes an HO scale resin model of this interesting heavy tank proposal.

This is a highly detailed resin kit for advanced model builders only.

HO scale resin.
