Description
M4 Sherman Tank composite hull early production small hull hatches 75mm gun turret. The Sherman composite hull was developed because the welding of the hull front used a lot more labor and materials than a cast hull. However, few industries had the ability to cast a full tank hull, so it was decided to cast hull fronts and weld those to welded hull rear sections. The cast hull provided better protection and was faster to make. The composite hull Sherman was used by the USMC on Saipan, and by the US Army in Europe and extensively in the Pacific. This resin and plastic model kit is highly detailed HO scale not not difficult to assemble.
