Hunting Tiger, Early, with Zimmerit - The Hunting Tiger was the tank destroyer version of the Tiger II. It was armed with a 128mm gun that had long range and great armor penetration. Fewer than 90 were manufactured and they were organized the say way as the heavy tank battalions, with four per platoon and 14 per company. Due to break downs and operational pressures they operated in company strength or fewer vehicles at
any one location. This is the heaviest series production armored vehicle of WWII.
