New Product Filament Fighters

Fidelis Models is now carrying a new product they call Filament Fighters.  This photo is a Reviresco M-3 Lee tank in HO scale and the near vehicle is an M1 Combat Car from Filament Fighters in HO scale.

The top Stuart is Filament Fighters and the bottom one is Heiser Models resin cast model.  The Filament Fighters are 3D printed using plastic filament.

Roco Minitanks Jeep and Filament Fighters Cadillac Staff Car.  The 3D printed models come un-assembled and un-painted.

Heiser Models resin cast Dodge Ambulance in green and the Filament Fighters Dodge Ambulance in gray.  You can see the printing striations on the door of the ambulance, and the detail is not as fine as the Heiser Models kit.

Heiser Models Dodge truck in yellow and the Filament Fighters in gray.  The Heiser truck is more detailed and more accurate model of the two.  The Filament Fighter models have less detail, small striations on some surfaces compared to resin cast or plastic models.  The Filament Fighters are more durable, have fewer parts, go together quickly and use gap filling super glue for assembly.

Once painted most of the striations are no longer noticeable, from arms reach away.  The striations vary from model to model and Because the models have no flash, and few parts they can be assembled quickly.  The range of models is large and more will be added soon.  One of the biggest advantages of these models is they are inexpensive, many are less than $5.

Many of these vehicles are of types never seen in HO scale before.  So often are vehicles that you can't get any other way in HO scale.  This is the French GPF 155mm gun that was used in WWI and WWII by the US and French.  It is with a Roco Jeep.

I have over three dozen of these Filament Fighters in my collection and intend to buy many more.  Caterpillar D7 Bulldozer and Roco Jeep.  This is a vehicle I have wanted for my WWII US Army Engineers for years.  And now I have one.

Thanks for reading.
