Spitfire Mk. VIII - Spitfire Mk. VIII was designed to compete against the German FW-190 series of fighter aircraft. When it entered squadron service in June of 1943 they were fast and could operate both as a fighter and ground attack aircraft. They served in the invasion of Italy, Western Europe and the Far East with the RAF and the Australian Air Force. Box has been opened, see pictures which are part of the description.
